Our MissionThe mission of the Center for Cross Cultural Health is 'to integrate the role of culture in improving health'. Our vision is increased health and well-being for all through cross-cultural understanding. In order to achieve this goal, the Center is actively involved in the education and training of health and human service providers and organizations in the State of Minnesota and beyond. The Center is also a research and information resource. Through information sharing, training, organizational assessments and research the Center works to develop culturally competent individuals, organizations, systems, and societies. Project Update: Changing Communities: Willmar, A Cross-Cultural Journey The Center for Cross-Cultural Health is leading a community-wide cultural competency initiative in Willmar, Minnesota. This project is made possible through the generous support of the BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota Foundation.
